e-books for FE April 2025 newsletter

Welcome to the April 2025 issue of our e-books for FE newsletter.

Research Assistant live on 3rd April

A reminder that ProQuest’s Research Assistant will go live in Ebook Central on Thursday 3rd April. We would welcome any feedback from students and/or teaching staff, so that we can pass this on to ProQuest to inform ongoing development. Further training-information sessions will be planned for May.

Subscription renewal 2025

Your 2022-2025 subscription to e-books for FE comes to an end on 31 August. Due to the administrative burden (on college staff and Jisc staff) of going through the renewal process every three years, the new subscription will be offered on a perpetual basis, with the option to opt out at any time with the required notice. We will aim to make the new subscription page available on the Licence Subscription Manager no later than Monday 2nd June, with updates and guidance before that date.

This is a good time to check that you have your institution’s login details for Licence Subscription Manager. If you’re not sure about your username or password, email help.digitalresources@jisc.ac.uk with the subject ‘LSM account’ and ask for details.
