In light of the COVID-19 crisis, we are changing the focus of our planned e-books for FE webinar clinic which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 25th March at 14.00.
Instead of our scheduled tutorial, we are going to focus this webinar on the learning resources that Jisc have made available for free to support our FE members during the COVID-19 crisis. We will also summarise all resources that publishers are making freely available to FE learners during this time. We are working closely with our partners in the publishing industry to encourage them to take action to make resources available in this time of crisis, and we have issued a collective call to providers of digital content.
We know many of you may be working from home and facing new challenges. The webinar will be recorded for you to catch up with at a time that suits you, and also for you to share with colleagues. We appreciate that this is a challenging time for colleagues across the sector, and we want to support you as much as possible in these new and uncertain times. As Jisc’s offices are now closed, the webinar will rely on home broadband service. As such, we will keep video interaction and screen sharing to a minimum.
