e-books for FE May 2026 newsletter

Welcome to the May 2026 issue of our e-books for FE newsletter.

FE digital content  survey

You will soon be receiving an email invitation to take part in a new online sector survey to help shape the future of our digital content services, including e‑books for FE. Your insight will directly inform how the service evolves to meet the changing needs of practitioners across further education.

This work forms part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring digital content and licence agreements deliver clear value for colleges, improve affordability and support equitable access. By hearing directly from those working in teaching, learning and curriculum delivery, we can better understand what’s working well, where challenges remain and how future provision can best support the sector.

The survey explores areas including content needs, workload, use of digital and AI tools, and how resources are accessed and used in teaching. Your feedback will help shape the future service and ensure it supports day‑to‑day delivery.

It will take an estimated 10-15 minutes to complete the survey, and it closes on Friday 5 June. Please feel free to share the survey with colleagues involved in teaching, curriculum design and resource delivery to help capture a broad range of perspectives.

If you have not received an email with a link to the survey by Monday 18 May, please contact andrew.jackson@jisc.ac.uk
