New e-books support staff member
On 8th June, Andrew Jackson joined Jisc as FE & Skills Service Co-ordinator (e-books). Andrew started his career as IT Librarian (and latterly Library & Learning Services Manager) at the Glasgow College of Building & Printing (now City of Glasgow College). Some of you may even remember him from way back when! He went on to specialise in library management system implementation projects: managing the creation and administration of a single-database LMS and online catalogue for all NHS Scotland libraries in 2008; delivering staff training for the Alma implementation across the University of Cambridge libraries in 2017; and project managing the implementation of Alma at the University of Leeds in 2019. In between projects he took time off to do a PhD in Creative Writing at Sheffield Hallam University. He is very pleased to be back in the FE & Skills family, and is looking forward to supporting you and your library services in these challenging times.
