Welcome to the October 2021 issue of our e-books for FE newsletter. Usage of Jisc e-books continues to rise, now that the new term has begun: there was an increase of 19% compared to September 2020. We hope that our new promotional materials are helping library services to spread the word among students and teaching staff (link below).
Thank you to all those colleges who took advantage of ProQuest’s 15% discount offer on e-book purchases between July and September – the success of the promotion increases the chance that something similar will be offered again later in the academic year. We will continue to discuss these opportunities and other alternatives with ProQuest, and keep you informed.

ProQuest training sessions for LibCentral and Ebook Central

A reminder that you can join the FE LRC and library community of practice – a Teams community for FE library staff across the UK to share ideas, provide support, and organise online events – by filling in your details at the following link: LRC CoP registration
