Research Assistant in Ebook Central
The Research Assistant opt-out option is now available in your institutional LibCentral platform. In the top toolbar, click on Settings, choose System, and scroll down the page. Un-check the box if you do not want Research Assistant to be activated by default in your Ebook Central platform on 20th March.
ProQuest purchasing policy change
From 30th June 2026, you will no longer be able to purchase titles from ProQuest via LibCentral and the OASIS purchasing system, as announced in this FAQ page. This also applies to print ordering. You will still be able to access any content you have purchased before then on your Ebook Central platform.
From 2026 a subscription model only will be available, covering 700,000 titles in the product described as ‘ProQuest Ebooks’. Further details are contained in the ProQuest press release page.
