Welcome to the July 2021 issue of our e-books for FE newsletter. There was the usual dip in e-book usage in June, with the academic year coming to an end, but user sessions were up 67% compared to June 2020.
Exclusive 15% discount on e-books titles until 30 September
Having worked closely with our sales partners at ProQuest, the Jisc FE and Skills team are pleased to announce that all colleges who subscribe to e-books for FE can take advantage of a 15% discount on e-books available from ProQuest on Ebook Central between 1 July and 30 September this year.
This time-limited offer includes all Hodder titles, all Taylor & Francis titles (including imprints Routledge and CRC Press), and selected titles from Oxford University Press and Bloomsbury.
If ordering on LibCentral, the discount will display on the full title page; if ordering on OASIS, the discounts will display at checkout. Discounts are applied automatically with each purchase: you don’t have to do anything manually.

Purchasing round 2021: Collection 12
The list of new titles and renewals has been circulated to the E-books for FE Jiscmail list. There are 84 brand new titles, 18 renewals of high-usage titles for a further three years, and 11 titles renewed for an extra one year. A big thank you to the Focus Group for their time and expertise in shaping the new list.
