Welcome to the August 2021 issue of our e-books for FE newsletter. With the e-book usage statistics now completed for this academic year, we can report that usage increased 51% over 2019-2020, and the grand total of user sessions across all colleges for the year was 1,194,909.
We will be working with our internal marketing department, account managers and member colleges to build on this success and improve on usage again in the coming academic year.
Reminder: exclusive 15% discount on e-books titles until 30 September
Having worked closely with our sales partners at ProQuest, the Jisc FE and Skills team are pleased to announce that all colleges who subscribe to e-books for FE can take advantage of a 15% discount on e-books available from ProQuest on Ebook Central between 1 July and 30 September this year.
This time-limited offer includes all Hodder titles, all Taylor & Francis titles (including imprints Routledge and CRC Press), and selected titles from Oxford University Press and Bloomsbury.
If ordering on LibCentral, the discount will display on the full title page; if ordering on OASIS, the discounts will display at checkout. Discounts are applied automatically with each purchase: you don’t have to do anything manually.
