Congratulations to Northern Regional College, who tweeted us their incredible e-books for FE Christmas tree and wreath. We loved their attempts to inspire sustainability whilst promoting literacy in the library.

Win a £30 National Book Token this January

The new year is a time for making changes, so this month’s theme is about changing attitudes towards e-books. We know that teachers and learners can sometimes be reluctant to embrace the benefits of using e-books, so we would love to know how you overcame this barrier and changed attitudes towards e-books. To win January’s £30 National Book Token, all you need to do is Tweet us with how you have changed attitudes towards e-books in your organisation. You have until Friday 31st January to enter, and we will select one winner at random. We will announce the winner will in our February newsletter.

New monthly webinar clinic

We are excited to share that from January 2020  we will be hosting a new monthly webinar clinic. Each webinar begin with a short tutorial based on recent common queries. The live online session will then give you the opportunity to ask questions and have them answered by a member of the e-books for FE team. . The first webinar will take place on Wednesday 29th January at 2pm-2.45pm. The first webinar will cover how to run usage reports on LibCentral followed by time for Q&A. Register for the January webinar.

If you have any suggestions for topics that you would like us to cover in the webinars, we would love to hear from you at content.feandskills@jisc.ac.uk
